My name is Lynda Zaugg and I'm running for State House in District 30. I support open and responsible government, ethical leadership, fiscal responsibility, investing in education and generating jobs for Alaskans.
As someone who believes our state's future depends on individuals taking responsibility for their government, I am an advocate of the vote by mail system. Vote by mail is simple, fair and cost-effective, and it makes it easier for citizens to vote without standing in long lines or using potentially flawed electronic voting equipment.
Washington and Oregon implemented vote by mail in the 1990s. Both states have seen an increase in voter turnout. If elected, I will advocate for a vote by mail system to make it easier for Alaskans to vote.
